Notice at collection
Effective July 20, 2026. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Stele Inc. is required to tell you, at or before the point of collection, what personal information we collect from job applicants and why.
Categories we collect
- Identifiers and contact details: name, email, phone, city, state, country, and links you share (LinkedIn, portfolio, GitHub).
- Professional and education information: your resume, work history, education, skills, and answers to role questions.
- Work-authorization information: whether you are authorized to work in the United States and whether you will require sponsorship.
Why we collect it
Solely to evaluate your application, communicate with you about it, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell or share applicant personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Retention
We keep applications for up to two years after a role closes so we can consider you for future openings and meet our record-keeping obligations, then delete them. You can request deletion sooner at any time.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting careers@stele.health. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
We do not ask for, and you should not provide, salary history. California law (AB 168) prohibits us from asking.
