Terms of use

Effective July 20, 2026.These terms govern your use of careers.stele.health (the “site”), operated by Stele Inc. (“Stele,” “we,” “us”). By using the site or submitting an application, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Who can use the site

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you apply, you are applying on your own behalf, not for someone else.

Your application

• Everything you submit must be truthful, accurate, and your own. Do not misrepresent your identity, experience, education, or work authorization.
• Do not submit anything you are not free to share, including material that is confidential to a current or former employer, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Submitting an application is not an offer of employment, does not create an employment relationship, and does not obligate us to consider, interview, or hire you. Any employment we do offer in the United States is at-will unless we agree otherwise in a signed writing.
• We may keep, review, and act on what you submit as described in the privacy policy.

You keep ownership of your resume and application materials. You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, reproduce, and internally share them for recruiting and record-keeping.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, automated, or bulk applications, or impersonate anyone.
• Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, probe or test our systems, or interfere with the site's operation.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data from the site, or use it to train a model, without our written permission.
• Use the site for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or refuse access if you break these rules.

Our content

The site and its content, including text, design, logos, and the Stēle name and marks, belong to Stele Inc. or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reuse, or adapt them without our written permission.

Third-party services and links

The site relies on third-party providers for hosting, storage, email, and resume parsing, and may link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any role described will remain open. Role descriptions may change or be withdrawn at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stele Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, opportunity, or profits, arising out of your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Stele Inc. harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Stele Inc. agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
